South-East England sites

Etherley Farm near Ockley in Surrey has very basic portaloo-type bogs and showers. The site is a fairly unexciting with two large, rectangular fields. However, the farm is lovely (does a nice line in duck burgers), is happy with camp fires (and sells logs) and is at the bottom of Leith Hill, which has an easily navigable and lovely walk through the woods to a tower, which provides some of the best views in Southern England – from London on one side to the Downs and the Channel on the other.
