Gil Head Farm: Lovely site with “hidden field” by stream and waterfall for playing in. Plus v.basic shop and showers, fridge, TV, play park and washing machines plus main field with beautiful views across to Blencathra and others. Ullswater just down the road and about equidistant from Penrith and Keswick. Farm shop a coupla miles down the road. Pub a half-mile walk. Only downside is no immediate walks for tiny kids.
