Shambala is a wonderfully diverse festival with an uncontrived spirit of fun and friendliness. It’s good for kids with a decent field of fun and making stuff plus circus acts, rides, a cinema and plenty of freaky art installations to explore. There’s also plenty of adult fun with an enhanced line-up in 2012 featuring the likes of Roots Manuva, Vieux Farka Toure, Shackleton, The Twinkle Brothers and the usual talks, massages, workshops and green stuff. The Enchanted Woods really are enchanted too.
